  We dined at d'Floret last night and the experience was delightful. We were warmly greeted and given a choice of seating. The ambiance was simple, yet elegant. The waitress clearly shared the specials (along with the prices, which was appreciated!) and timed our meal adequately, without rushing us. We started with the frisee salad, which was large enough to split and perfectly dressed. Then we splurged on the gnocchi and paid the extra $10 for the truffles, and this was fantastic. This was the highlight of the meal! The fresh French bread was great, served with tomato infused olive oil. For our entrees, my husband ordered the salmon and I ordered the prawn special. My only criticism is that the entrees were a bit small. For dessert, we had the chef special, which was a chocolate mousse with a hazelnut crust. The service was attentive and kind. The chef came over to ask if we were pleased, which was a thoughtful touch. We've been to all of the top notch restaurants in the area and this experience was the best. We will be returning soon. It's also BYOB! The prices aren't cheap, but for we don't mind paying more for quality ingredients and great flavor. It was well worth it!
